Big Brother viewers were left fuming after Michael Fabricant became the first star of the series to be evicted from the house on Friday evening.
The former Tory MP, 74, was forced to face the public vote alongside Mickey Rourke, 72, and Jack P. Shepherd, 37, after receiving the most nominations from fellow housemates.
After the result was announced the politician said his farewells before exiting along with his beloved teddy bear to a mix of boos and cheers to meet hosts AJ Odudu, 37, and Will Best, 40.
However those watching slammed the result, branding the controversial Mickey a ‘homophobe’ and Jack ‘boring’ as they claimed Michael had been evicted way too soon.

The latest eviction comes after the celeb’s first week in the house was filled with drama, tears and tension.
On Wednesday Mickey, 72, left lesbian dancer JoJo, 21, in tears after he insinuated he would be able to ‘make her straight’ during their time in the house and branded her a ‘f*g’.
Fans of the ITV show demanded the ‘vile’ actor be removed from the house following his homophobic outburst, before going on body shame actress Donna Preston and insulted EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer’s cooking in a ‘misogynistic’ tirade.
Following Mickey’s outburst Chesney Hawkes, 53, was quick to praise JoJo for her maturity in handling the situation as he remarked how she reminded him of his own daughter, Jesse, who also identifies as part of the LGBTQ community.
Speaking to Big Brother in the Diary Room, the One And Only hitmaker explained: ‘This incident with Mickey and JoJo kind of knocked me a little bit.
‘It’s funny because JoJo is the same age as my daughter. My daughter is also part of the LGBTQ community so it just reminded me of her and I think she really handled it well.
‘So I was just sort of proud of her in a fatherly way.’
In just a few days of the celebrity series kicking off, Mickey has already made headlines with his ‘creepy behaviour’ and offensive comments.

The Dance Moms star was reduced to tears by Mickey when he made a revolting homophobic threat to ‘tie her up and convert her’ as Chris Hughes stepped into comfort her
Discussing his perception of the actor, Chesney continued: ‘I quite like Mickey and I like spending time with him and obviously he is a legend and his stories are amazing but he is in this mode in life where he doesn’t give a monkeys about what anyone thinks, you can see that. He lives his life in that way.
‘But I can see there is a slight innocence to him. You sort of want to get in there and see if there is more to the tough exterior that you see. He is an interesting character that’s for sure.’

Later in the garden, Mickey asked Chris if everyone had to vote one another out of the house as the Wrestler star confessed: ‘I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.’
JoJo overheard as she hit back: ‘That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.’
Defending JoJo, Chris interjected, ‘You can’t do that Mickey,’ yet the star was undeterred as he added: ‘I need a f*g’ before gesturing to JoJo and adding: ‘I’m not talking to you.’
But JoJo has since been hailed ‘the people’s princess’ by viewers after how she handled the horrific situation, which saw Mickey make repeated homophobic and misogynistic comments towards her.

They wrote: ‘Jojo Siwa is really great, isn’t she? A mature, smart, young woman,’;
‘The way jojo was nothing but kind to that man when she had every opportunity to tell him to shut the f*** up,’;
‘Jojo has more patience than me because if that old man started brushing his teeth in the kitchen sink in front of me i would’ve lost it,’;
‘Oh i’ve seen enough jojo and chris final two,’; ‘Jojo is the people’s princess i fear,’;
‘Jojo handled that situation with mickey SO well,’; ‘JoJo is my early winner after tonight. She handled everything so well,’;
‘Jojo’s face when Mickey was being a homophobic rat to her broke my heart. She handled herself so well when she’d be so justified in losing her shit, I’m rooting for her. I hope she kicks him out,’;
‘”Jojo siwa could win this” was on nobodies bingo card, but here we are, and I for one, couldn’t be happier that she is getting to show herself!’
