A WOMAN has revealed that she bought a caravan off Facebook Marketplace for just £500, and has turned it into a pink haven using bargain buys.
When TikToker @sugarandpearlcaravans first parked her budget purchase on her drive, it looked tired and drab, with the outside covered in grubby marks.
However, the pink loving DIY whizz set to work on the transformation straight away, jet washing the caravan until it came up sparkling.
“So pleased with how it’s come up,” she said.
Sharing a look inside the grubby old van, the DIY fan revealed that it was really dark, and stank of cigarettes.
Determined to make drastic changes. she replaced the flooring, tiles and upholstery, using second hand and bargain buys.

To tackle the makeover, the woman picked up filler and cabinet paint from Poundstretcher, and wallpaper from The Range.
She also picked up bargains including a ceiling hook for 89p, and a £7.52 set of cabinet handles – both from Temu.
The renovation took just a few weeks to finish, and cost just under £500 to complete.
It now looks completely unrecognisable, with the woman dubbing it her “pink hideaway”, thanks to its bright coloured decor.
The door has been jazzed up with pink brick effect Temu tiles, and a “Love You, Bye” sign hangs boldly on the door.
Inside, the caravan is decorated with head to toe pink furnishings, including a stylish doormat from The Range.
Fake plants and flowers give the caravan a cosy feel, and golden taps from Temu give the place a bougjie on a budget feel.
The TikToker recently took the caravan out for it’s first weekend stay, and is so happy with how her project has turned out.
“My little pink hideaway,” she said.
Her TikTok has likely left many impressed, as it has gone viral, racking up over 500,000 views on the video sharing platform.
