Barry Hawkins has insisted that his first round clash with Shaun Murphy is NOT over.
The Hawk finished the afternoon session leading Murphy 7-1.
Their clash is set to resume shortly in tonight’s evening session.
Following the afternoon session, Hawkins said: “The match is not over yet, so I won’t get too carried away.
“I can’t ask for much more than that in that first session”
Xiao vs Wu
The All-Chinese battle between Xiao Guodong and Wu Yize will recommence tomorrow at 1pm.
Wu took a 3-0 lead over his compatriot earlier today, only to be pegged back to 3-3.
He then went 4-3 ahead, before Xiao levelled again at 4-4.
The winner will face John Higgins in the quarter-finals.
