A SCHOOLGIRL was left scarred for life after being mauled by a neighbour’s dog while she was out playing.
Lilly, who was 10 at the time of her attack, had been kicking a football about with pals opposite her Bridgend home in September 2023.
The horror unfolded as Lilly waited for a friend outside her neighbour’s front door.
A Staffordshire bull terrier cross breed charged out of the house and savagely bit her.
The 10-year-old had more than 10 puncture wounds on her hand as she tried to protect herself.
Lily also suffered serious facial injuries which have left permanent scarring.
