RUBEN AMORIM revealed Victor Lindelof had to leave Old Trafford at half-time against Lyon due to a “personal issue”.
United enjoyed one of their most dramatic and memorable European nights on Thursday.
The Red Devils needed THREE late goals in extra-time to come from 4-2 down to beat Lyon 5-4 – having earlier led 2-0 on the night.
Harry Maguire headed home the winner in injury time to send United into the Europa League semi-finals.
However, Amorim revealed there was one worrying piece of news.
Amorim spoke to TNT Sports pitchside after the win.
He revealed Lindelof – who was named on the bench – was forced to exit the stadium to tend to the personal matter.
He did not expand on what the issue was.
Amorim said: “Victor had a personal issue and had to leave.”
