Trump ultra-loyalist Marjorie Taylor Greene went nuclear on a British reporter who asked about the Signal chat scandal, warning her: ‘We don’t give a c**p about your opinion. Why don’t you go back to your country’.
The Republican firebrand, 50, barracked Sky News‘ US Correspondent Martha Kelner when she asked if she ‘cared about American lives being put at risk’.
MTG, as she is known in the United States who once famously told David Cameron to ‘kiss my a**’, said: ‘What country are you from?’
And when Ms Kelner quickly answered: ‘The UK’, the American far-Right politician and conspiracy theorist from Georgia said angrily: ‘We don’t give a c**p about your opinion and your reporting. Why don’t you go back to your country?’.
When Martha asked again if she cared about American lives that may have been risked by the leaking of Houthi attack plans, MTG went on: ‘You should care about your own borders. Let me tell you something, do you care about people from your country?
‘What about all the women that are raped by migrants – do you care? Don’t you care about how your women are raped by migrants?’
She finished: ‘You’re done. I don’t care about your fake news’.

When Martha Kelner tried to ask MTG a question, she told he to ‘go back to your country’

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene shamelessly deflected to the past instead of addressing the failings of the current administration when asked about top White House officials adding a journalist to a sensitive group message about impending military air strikes in Yemen

Just before Greene went nuclear on the reporter she was in a committee hearing talking about public broadcasters NPR and PBS
Greene, 50, had just exited from a DOGE committee hearing examining government funding for public broadcasters and was taking questions from the press when a reporter asked her about Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Ms Kelner’s question was intended to get Greene to respond to an ongoing controversy within the White House over how a journalist was inadvertently added to a group chat about air strikes in Yemen with Pete Hegseth and other top US leaders.
MTG then only agreed to speak to an American journalist – who then stuck up for Martha.
The US reporter appeared to stand up for Kelner, ‘I’d like to hear your answer to what she’s asking,’ the man said, referencing the Sky News correspondent.
MTG then began talking over him, not about Hegseth or the group chat controversy, but instead about former President Joe Biden.
‘You want to know about complete disregard about operational security? You should talk about the Biden administration and how they ripped our borders open to terrorists, cartel, child sex trafficking, human trafficking, and drug trafficking across our borders for four years,’ Greene responded.
‘Were talking about NPR and PBS today,’ Greene clarified, noting how that was the purpose of her media availability.
‘That’s what this is about today, not journalists from the U.K. that should care about their own country,’ the Republican finished before walking away from the cameras.
But Ms Kelner followed her, asking whether Hegseth should resign.
MTG said: ‘Absolutely not, he’s doing a great job’.
She went on, while jabbing her finger at Martha and told her: ‘Your country is going to your military fighting a war in Ukraine that is not even a member of NATO’.
Martha then asked if this was an ‘exercise in deflection’.
MTG replied: ‘No this is an exercise in you worry about your own country’.
Greene had previously told a British journalist to ‘go back to your country’ in 2022.
