THE first time in many years a Manchester derby has had so little riding on it – and it felt like it too.
Barring a dramatic first minute when United thought they had a penalty, there was hardly anything of note. In the end it was a free-kick rather than a pen for the foul on Garnacho by Dias – and it came to nothing.
Shame – this is a game that desperately needs a goal.

Both managers need to work their magic to revive this derby.
If this finishes as a nil-nil draw it will be a big chance missed by Man City to put their top four bid in their own hands.
For Man Utd, they just don’t seem to want those bragging rights.

Over the years we have seen some enthralling Premier League clashes, this is not one of them.
At times it has looked like a walking football match, other times it has looked like a group of lads met in the car park for the first time and decided to have a kickabout.
As D:Ream once said, things can only get better, we hope.
