A MAN has been found dead near a children’s play park as cops launch an urgent probe.
Police were called to an area of Hempsted, in Gloucester, at around 5pm on Wednesday, after locals made the grim find.
Paramedics tragically pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Cops have said the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious but their investigation is ongoing.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 5pm, Wednesday, April 2, following the discovery of a body in Hemspted, Gloucester.
“A man was pronounced dead by paramedics. At this time the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for the coroner.”
