Major bargain chain slashes price of popular Easter egg flavours to 95p

A MAJOR bargain chain has slashed the price of popular Easter Eggs to just a few pence.

Eagle-eyed shoppers were stunned to see Kit Kat Chunky and Smarties eggs on sale for just 95p at Home Bargains.

The 100g eggs are reduced down from £1.25, giving customers the chance to save 30p.

Nestle’s Kit Kat egg comes with a small chunky bar, whilst the smarties egg is filled with the colourful chocolate pieces.

It’s offer is significantly cheaper than what Sainsbury’s and other competitors are offering for the treat.

The UK’s second biggest supermarket is charging £1.50 for the egg or £1.35 if you are a Nectar card holder.

Morrisons has also priced the product at £1.50, while Asda is charging £1.48.

If you are keen to shop Home Bargains cut price deal you will need to head one of its physical branches.

That’s because the deal does not appear to be available at its online store.

If you do plan to shop in store it may be worth ringing up your nearest branch ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

Shoppers have also been going wild for the new Fini Tornadoes filled Easter Egg stocked in stores.

It comes with classic strawberry sweets, but the egg is chocolate.

Home Bargains has provided an update on its opening hours at Easter.

Store across England and Wales will shut on Easter Sunday, and reopen the following day.

Home Bargains’ Easter opening times are as follows:

  • Good Friday: 9am-6pm
  • Easter Sunday – CLOSED
  • Easter Monday – 9am-6pm
