ASTONISHING images have been captured showing an abandoned graveyard of vintage cars and fire engines left to rot.
The snaps show over 40 abandoned motors from manufacturers such as BMW, Ford, Rover and Volvo.
A fleet of dilapidated fire engines covered in mould and peeling red paint were also found.
The images were taken by urban explorer Kyle Urbex during his 220th exploration at Brian’s Vintage Car Collection in Chester.
Kyle found the graveyard hidden away behind dense vegetation near the home of elderly couple Brian and Barbara.
Other images show old tractors and JCBs scattered across the property, giving it an eerie abandoned atmosphere.
He also found a BMW 635 CSI, once a sign of luxury, slowly being reclaimed by nature.
With iconic styling and nicknamed ‘shark nose’ the motor was very much the symbol of the BMW range after being introduced in 1978.
Kyle’s visit took an unexpected turn when he stumbled upon Brian himself who revealed his hopes for the future.
He said: “Brian has full intentions of one day being able to restore this high car collection, but given his age of 70+, I highly doubt he will get around to restoring all the cars and fire trucks.
“He has been victim to some of the cars being smashed to bits by youths.”
Kyle also revealed: “After going completely the wrong way towards the house that we should’ve actually avoided and stumbling into Brian, the owner of the cars, we had a lengthy chat with him.
“He told us about the cars and all the trouble he has had with them.”
The police have made regular visits since to secure the site and ensure no further damage occurs.
This isn’t the first graveyard for motors that have been abandoned after a warehouse full of classic cars worth a whopping £1million was found last year.
Another urban explorer, BeardedReality, real name Daniel Sims, discovered a barn full of Bentleys, Porsches, and Jaguars collecting moss.
The 35-year-old, tipped off by another explorer, is keeping the barn’s location under wraps but said: “Whoever has been collecting these cars for decades has an impressive collection which they must be proud of.”
Daniel spotted the motors through a broken fence and said some were surprisingly well preserved: “Some were stored away meaning the damage was minimal, which is crazy to see.”
Others weren’t so lucky — with smashed glass, sagging bumpers, moss, and bird muck piling up over the years.
He added: “For a lot of people, these iconic cars will hold a lot of memories.”
Daniel has made a number of car graveyard finds around Europe, including an iconic British sports car worth £40,000.
The bright red Triumph TR3 was left to rot an abandoned barn for 40-odd years.
Another find he has made is of a graveyard of buses and lorries left in a field.
A double-decker bus still has the seats in it but has started to sprout moss through the top walkway.
In 2023, Daniel found another car graveyard in an abandoned barn in Nottinghamshire.
