A BRITISH explorer has stumbled across a “bus graveyard” filled with nostalgic double-deckers all left to rot.
Chloe, 23, made the discovery a few weeks ago in Yorkshire and described the experience as “surreal.”

The bizarre site Chloe had come across was filled to the brim with rusting and rotting buses.
Left abandoned in a murky field, the explorer shared shocking pictures of the decomposing vehicles.
She said: “We walked on site as the main gate was wide open.
“It was crazy exploring it, endless buses in all levels of decay.
“The buses we explored are abandoned.
“They are located at the back of a bus repair yard.”
Chloe shared her unusual discovery to her Instagram @chloeurbex, posting photos of single and double-decker vehicles as well as some of the old seats, curtains and stairs.
Each bus was pictured in an utter state of disrepair with the windows smashed and moss growing up the side.
Piles of leaves had fallen onto the seats through broken gaps and breakages, and many stood without doors.
A stunning aerial snap of all the buses showed how many there were – all with with painted roofs slowly discolouring.
As she explores some more, Chloe finds some buses completely stripped of their seating, while some are falling apart.
There are broken, dirty windows and somewhere plants have smashed through.
Deteriorating old bells can be seen still in some of the buses, as well as the driver’s seat and wheel.
Some seating is also covered in leaves, twigs and brambles, as well as dirt.
Fans of Chloe’s photography skills and sense of adventure commented on the post, praising her talents.
One gushed: “Omg those drone shots.”
Another fan said: “I was going to say “wow” but that would just be one hell of an understatement.”
One commented: “Nice set! The amount of buses there as well.
“Satellite view is even more wow.”
An ambitious user added: “I would live here.”
This isn’t the first obscure find Chloe has shared with her 6,000 followers.
She’s made some chilling discoveries before, such as an abandoned hospitals, horror museums and a derelict race track.
This week she posted a unnerving picture of an abandoned airport in Cyprus with a side by side of what is used to look like.
WHAT IS URBEX?
Urban exploration, often abbreviated as urbex, is the exploring of man-made and often abandoned structures.
This includes hidden sites, abandoned sites, or places that are generally off-limits to the public.
It involves venturing into spaces such as disused factories, derelict hospitals, old railway tunnels, forgotten bunkers, or even rooftops and sewers.
Urban Explorers tend to be very conscious of where they visit and stand by the ethos: “Leave only footprints, take only photos.”
