FREDDIE Flintoff has revealed his son was too scared to speak to him after he sustained severe facial injuries following his Top Gear crash.
The 47-year-old has heartbreakingly revealed how his toddler, three, was terrified to be near his father with injuries.

In his brand new Disney+ film – which drops this Friday – Freddie emotionally recalled: “What I’ve done, I suppose, in this house, is become safe and be scared to step outside of it.
“You want to be there for the kids and you don’t want to miss stuff and fortunately I’ve got four of them.
“I’ve spent all this time with a three-and-a-half year old. He wouldn’t come near me to begin with, I think it frightened him, my face.
“It frightened me. That was heartbreaking.”
In 2022 Freddie had been filming for a Top Gear episode at Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey when his three-wheeled roadster flipped over.
Freddie suffered severe facial injuries as a result of the smash and the BBC motoring show was axed.
He also received a £9m payout from BBC Studios for the accident.
In the same film, Freddie opened up on how downward spiral and becoming a recluse.
It comes as….
He spent eight months recovering from the ordeal – and never left the house during that time, apart for medical appointments.
Freddie’s Disney+ film – produced by South Shore – will also look back at his incredible life and cricketing career that saw him win two Ashes series with England and become a national sporting hero.
Award-winning director John Dower was granted exclusive access to Freddie over the last year to film his recovery and document his cricketing career.
