The confession that they’ve never had an argument was first uttered by George, 63, in 2022 while on CBS Mornings.
At the time, the actor said it was ‘easy’ having a strong marriage with Amal, 47.
The couple, who share seven year old twins Ella and Alexander. said that their marriage has been the ‘easiest thing in our lives by far. We’ve never had an argument.’
Amal, who was also on hand for the interview, ‘It’s maddening to some of our friends. I have a cousin, actually, every time we see him he’s like, his first question is, “So have you had an argument yet?” before he says hello.’
Gayle then asked the couple ‘Seriously? You’ve never had an argument?’ to which George joked, ‘Would you like us to right now? Would that make you feel better?’
The topic of no arguments has been something that George appears to love talking about, as he also mentioned it in a 2020 interview with People.
‘I feel very lucky in so many ways to have met her. We haven’t ever had an argument. You know, everybody’s been slammed together because of the coronavirus and a lot of friends’ relationships have been tested. For us, it’s been really easy.’

In 2018, Amal gave some insight on how it felt falling in love with George, noting that it ‘felt like the most natural thing in the world,’ she told Vogue.
‘It’s the one thing in life that I think is the biggest determinant of happiness and it’s the thing you have the least control over. Are you going to meet this person? I was 35 when I met him. It wasn’t obvious that it was going to happen for me. And I wasn’t willing or excited about the idea of getting married or having a family in the absence of that,’ she added.
George and Amal got engaged in April 2014 and got their marriage license in August 2014; they married on September 27, 2014 at Ca’ Farsetti in Italy.
They welcome their twins Ella and Alexander on June 6, 2017.
