From Halle Berry to Ursula Andress, greatest Bond girls ever ranked – but do YOU agree?

ACTRESS Halle Berry has been named the greatest Bond girl.

She bewitched 007 fans emerging from the sea in an orange bikini and white knife belt in 2002 film Die Another Day.

Berry’s character — American secret service agent Jinx Johnson — was seduced by Brit spy James Bond, played by Pierce Brosnan.

And her appearance echoed Dr No featuring Ursula Andress, who was second in the Bond girls poll.

In the 1962 film with Sean Connery, the first official adaptation of Ian Fleming’s novels, she played Honey Ryder.

And her first appearance was in a belted bikini carrying a large knife.

In third place was Ana de Armas, who played Cuban secret agent Paloma in 2021’s No Time to Die with Daniel Craig.

Her character has the honour of being the only Bond girl 007 didn’t bed.

Fourth place goes to Honor Blackman, Pussy Galore in 1964’s Goldfinger.

And in fifth is Eva Green, who played Bond’s love interest Vesper Lynd in 2006’s Casino Royale.

The top five was compiled by the website of men’s magazine Maxim.

A movie expert said: “It’s telling that many of the Bond girls that have been named are from 007 movies which date back decades, rather than just the stars of the most recent outings.

“They remain popular not just because of their beauty, but because of some of the iconic moments they created — and in some cases just because of their rather racy names.”
