New Park Manor in Brockenhurst has everything for families to have fun, but also experience a relaxing break altogether.

It was even awarded the title of “best family-friendly hotel” by The Times in its 100 Best Places to Stay in the UK for 2025.

In their review The Times said New Park Manor is “a magnet for exhausted parents who quickly become repeat guests, returning with children who treat the place like home from the second they arrive.”

The hotel offers many ways for a family-friendly break including a “milk butler service”.

Front of house staff will prepare little ones a bottle of warm milk whether it’s day or night, and they get a choice of cow’s, soya, and oat milk.

What was described as a “game changer” is the complimentary time at the kids’ club.

The hotel offers all guests a free two hour session per night’s stay.

The Four Bears Den is an Ofsted-registered kids’ club within the hotel and has entertainment for children aged 3 months to 8 years.

Some adults even said they took the time away from their children to “sneak off to the spa” in their Tripadvisor review.

For adults, there’s a heated pool, steam room, spa and adults-only sun terrace with two outdoor hot tubs.

During school holidays and at weekends, the designated “Den” team offers family activities that both children and adults can take part in.

They offer everything from forest school adventures, to mocktail making, fire pit marshmallow toasting, scavenger hunts, and nature walks.

During the day there are family-friendly films playing and plenty of popcorn too.

In the evenings, children can get ready for bed with storytime that comes with milk and cookies.

The hotel also has smart baby monitors so parents can enjoy a meal in the hotel restaurant while keeping a watchful eye on their sleeping children.

New Park Manor also encourages parents to pack light. They’ll provide highchairs, pushchairs, potties, toddler toilet seats, cots, bed guards, and nightlights.

They also offer flexible meal times with a children’s menu that caters for fussy eaters and complimentary puréed foods for babies.

The hotel has another plus point for parents too, and that’s because it’s 20 minutes from Peppa Pig World.

New Park Manor is found in the New Forest where families can explore walking and cycling trails around the woodland.

Children up to the age of 16 stay for free in their parents’ room. Prices of rooms start from £165.

One of our writers took a trip to Peppa Pig World, and was surprised by what they found.

We found another family-friendly hotel with as many pools as a foreign resort and huge kids play centre.

We Stayed At The New Park Manor

A few years ago one of our writers took a trip to New Park Manor and here is what she found

There’s a relaxed feel and the staff go out of their way to accommodate all the guests’ needs. We were there on our honeymoon and although the hotel is geared towards families, it’s ideal for a couple of child-free days.

ROOMS ANY GOOD? There are 25 to choose from, for all budgets. We stayed in one of the newly built double bedrooms, and it was perfect for the two of us. The bathroom deserves a mention of its own – it was wonderfully big, with a huge bath and shower.

EAT HERE OR GRAB A PIZZA? Food is important at New Park Manor and they try to source their ingredients locally.

Every meal we had – from a laid-back breakfast to dinner – was delicious. If you fancy dining out, try the Fox & Hounds pub in Lyndhurst.

WHAT ELSE? Weekends are definitely busy with families so if you fancy some quiet time then go midweek. I was able to sit for a couple of hours each day in one of the gorgeous lounges with a pot of tea and magazines. Heaven. The spa is a haven for relaxation. I had a facial and it was an hour of pure bliss that I didn’t want to end.
