A cheating mother who sexually assaulted a man in a failed attempt at seduction following an argument with her boyfriend has been jailed.
Hannah Hulme, a 24-year-old mother-of-two from Stoke-on-Trent, was said to have run her fingernails around the victim’s chest before ‘clawing’ at his genitals after climbing into his bed at the end of a sleepover party in September 2023.
As the unnamed man, a friend of Hulme and her boyfriend, pleaded with her to stop, she replied: ‘You want it more than I do,’ a number of times.
The assault only ended when the victim told Hulme he could hear her partner getting up in another bedroom.
The victim, who said he could not sleep for the rest of that night, reported the incident to police.
It was later discovered that Hulme had subsequently forced herself on a heavily pregnant woman in an unrelated incident after turning up drunk at her home at 4am with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s.
During that assault she was said to have pushed the 24-year old woman on a sofa, before running both her hands up her left thigh and over her breast saying: ‘I want to take your clothes off and show you a good time.’
At Chester Crown Court, Hulme was jailed for seven months after she was convicted of sexual assault on the man following a trial.

Hulme was said to have run her fingernails around the victim’s nipples before ‘clawing’ at his penis

She denied wrongdoing but admitted sexually assaulting the woman. She was banned from contacting the two victims for 10 years under the terms of a restraining order.
The assault on the unnamed man occurred after Hulme and her boyfriend, Thomas Bratton, had visited the male victim’s home in Crewe.
The victim told the trial: ‘At first they were fine but Hannah went outside to smoke weed. Thomas did not like her smoking, neither did I and Thomas told her not to bother sleeping with him.
‘She then came into my room about 1.30am and was under one of my blankets. She moved to the other side of the bed where I was and I sat up. She started to move her hand across my chest, circling my nipples. The way she was circling it felt really weird.
‘I kept on asking her to stop but she just kept on laughing, telling me that I wanted her to do it more than she did. After a while she put her hand down my trousers. I was just wearing pyjama bottoms. She grabbed my penis. She was tugging on it and clawing at it.
‘I kept on telling her to stop. but she just kept on laughing, telling me again and again that I wanted it more than she did. It ended when I told her I heard Thomas getting out of bed. So, she said she was going to put the kettle on to make a cup of tea.
‘I could not sleep that night. I just kept my eyes open watching the door all night, watching if she came back in. I told Thomas’s brother what happened the next day.’
Hannah Price, prosecuting said: ‘The defendant said she she did not want to stay with Thomas Bratton because of the argument they had.

‘She moved closer to the complainant and started to rub his chest.
‘At first he thought she was messing around but the rubbing became harder, she started to scratch him.
‘He told her to stop but she laughed at him and carried on. She put her hand in his pyjamas and began tugging at his penis. She rubbed her finger nail up and down. It made him feel extremely uncomfortable. He told her to stop. She laughed and said that he wanted it as much as she did.
‘This went on for 30 minutes. He went on playing a game hoping that she would get bored but she persisted. It was only after he told her that he thought Thomas had woken up that she did stop. He did say to the police that the defendant’s behaviour made him feel horrible.’
Hulme, whose children have been adopted, gave no comment in police interview.
Her counsel Myles Wilson said: ‘A presentence report sets out the troubled and chaotic life that she has been living.
‘Her mental health issues, drug use and drinking is a toxic mix. She has missed two of her children’s birthdays. She wants to take whatever opportunities are available so that she can sort those issues out.’
Sentencing Judge Simon Berkson told Hulme: ‘Your upbringing and background is very upsetting and you have had difficulties with alcohol and drugs in the past. Immaturity is also factor in this particular case.
‘But it is right to say that people have tried to help you quite often and you have simply thrown that back in their faces.’
