Bear Grylls has shared a sweet tribute to son Marmaduke on Instagram on Monday as he marked his 19th birthday.
The TV star shared a number of sweet family snaps of his second-eldest child – who dwarfed his famous father – and revealed it is the first birthday he has spent away from home.
Bear admitted he ‘missed’ Marmaduke as he continues to travel round Asia during a four-month long trip.
He wrote: ‘Happy 19th birthday Marmaduke! Our first one apart as a family and we miss you. Stay safe on those motorbikes…’
The adventurer shares Marmaduke with wife Shara Knight, who he married in 2000, and also shares sons Jesse, 21, and Huckleberry, 15.

Marmaduke looked in good spirits in a second snap as he tucked into a large portion of ribs while dining at a restaurant with his dad.
For the final snap, the teenager dressed smart in a beige suit as he joined his parents at a sport match.
Several of Bear’s fans rushed to the comments to send their best wishes to Marmaduke including some of his dads famous pals.
Annabel Croft penned: ‘Happy birthday Marmaduke ❤️ hope you’ve had a wonderful day – that looks like a feast’.
Ben Fogle added: ‘Happy birthday Marmaduke’.
Alice Beer wrote: ‘Happiest of days on your adventures Marmaduke! (❤️Shara)’.
In February, Bear admitted he’s feeling ‘sad but happy’ as Marmaduke headed off on a four-month holiday.
Taking to Instagram he shared his pride as he revealed that his middle child has been ‘working hard’ to fund a trip to Asia.
He wrote: ‘Happy 19th birthday Marmaduke! Our first one apart as a family and we miss you. Stay safe on those motorbikes…’

Bear wrote: ‘So sad but also happy for Marmaduke – saying goodbye to him here in Australia as he heads to Asia for four months.
‘He’s worked hard in a butchers in London, earned his way and is now going off for his own adventure. ‘
The adventurer concluded his post by wishing his son a pleasant trip, and noted that he would be on the road promoting his Netflix show soon.
He added: ‘Have fun, stay safe, come home soon. We miss you… Shara and me head home from our BG Live tour and I start the Celebrity Bear Hunt.’
