‘When did Easter become like Xmas?’ people cry as mum spoils her daughter with a huge designer haul

However, one mum decided to splash the cash on designer clothes and beauty buys for her young daughter, leading some to question whether Easter has become the new Christmas.

The mum, known as @thewilliamsfamily168 online, took to TikTok to share the reaction of her “spoiled” daughter to the haul.

“Happy Easter”, she beamed, as daughter Miley was left open-mouthed at the lavish selection of gifts.

The entire sofa had been covered from top to bottom with new clothes, beauty products and bunny balloons – with no egg in sight.

An excited Miley rushed to hug her mum and dad before saying, “Oh my god, it’s like Christmas all over again.”

Amongst the gifts was a box of goodies from Boux Avenue, two Yankees baseball caps, two Jellycats, a Calvin Klein t-shirt, and a box of P.Louise makeup products.

In a comment posted underneath the video, which was posted on Friday, the mum explained that on Good Friday the family buy each other clothes, and on Easter Sunday they give each other eggs.

“But Miley doesn’t eat eggs,” she added.

The mum added that her family have always celebrated Easter this way, and said that they are able to afford the extravagant gifts as they don’t drink or smoke and are hard working.

The video has likely left many open-mouthed, as it has racked up over five million views and five thousand comments.
