THERE’S no doubt that M&S have upped their game this season, with spring staples sending fashion fans into a frenzy.
And even a footballer’s girlfriend has insisted the high street giant is “slaying” with its new pieces.
Nicola Claassen lives in Aberdeen with her boyfriend Jack Mackenzie who plays for the Dons.
The 24-year-old financial accountant regularly shares her fashion finds and outfit of the day picks on her social media.
In a recent video, the fashionista revealed she was heading to the newly renovated M&S store in Union Square, Aberdeen.
She said: “I’ve been so excited for it to open up because M&S has been slaying, I’ve been loving them.
“It’s giving luxury and take my money.”
First up, she tried a £69 tailored collarless blazer in the colour of the season, buttermilk.
Designed in a comfortable regular fit with a sleek and modern silhouette, the blazer offers easy layering for work or beyond.
It’s currently sold out on the website, so you’ll have to be fast to nab it in your nearest store.
Nicola also found a gorgeous dark indigo denim waistcoat with large gold buttons for £39.50.
And she snapped up the high street giant’s £65 utility trucker jacket before it sold out – and joked it stops her from freezing while watching Jack’s games.
Nicola earlier revealed the healthy snack she whips up for her footballer boyfriend that still satisfies a sweet tooth.
So if you’re trying to up your protein or watch what you eat, then you’ve come to the right place.
When she’s not working her corporate job, she enjoys cheering on her beau at matches and coming up with new recipes for him to enjoy.
In a TikTok video, she said: “My boyfriend is a professional footballer but there is no private chef around here. It’s me, I am the private chef.
“So I love playing around with recipes to create something that exactly suits his needs and his taste.”
She added: “Eating healthy and meeting protein goals does not mean boring and it also doesn’t mean tasteless.
“I love meal prepping different snacks and different meals so that when he gets home from training he does not have to worry about cooking at all.
“Being a supportive girlfriend means that I do what I can to make his life easier when he gets home and he looks after me.”
And the footie WAG has hailed one of her recent creations, high protein cheesecakes, as the “yummiest, healthy snack”.
Jack Mackenzie, 24, is a left-back with Aberdeen and won his first senior Scotland call-up last year after his impressive form.
His contract is set to end this summer, with him already being linked to Championship clubs Preston, Sheffield United and Stoke City.
Why everyone is loving M&S

Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:
“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.
“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.
“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.
“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.
“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.
“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.
“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”
