The Prince of Wales, 42, held a drink in his hand as he stood in a hospitality box at the packed out stadium.

Young Prince George, 11, donned a half-and-half scarf as he played with his hands in a nervous excitement pre-game.

Aston Villa were outclassed in the first leg in Paris with a Morgan Rogers’ opener being ruled out by three good PSG goals which saw them take firm control of the tie.

Proud Villa fans are ready to play their part and host a European classic to help push John McGinn’s men across the line.

The future King of England and the 40,000 fans in Villa Park this evening will need to witness at least two home goals for them to stand any chance of qualifying.

If Aston Villa can win the match by two clear goals then the crunch tie will go to extra time and then penalties.

But a mammoth three goal margin of victory over the French champions will see Emery’s side go through to the semi-finals.

Hopes are still high for a win with Villa on a 17-match unbeaten run at home in all competitions which stretches back to November 2024.
