Dobey won five legs in a row on his way to a 6-2 victory over the world champion.

It came after he caused surprise with his walk-on song.

Dobey, 34, chose to switch things up by coming out to L’Amour Toujours by Italian DJ Gigi D’Agostino – a song he has used in the past.

The track has reached cult status since its release in 2000, racking up more than half a billion views on YouTube.

But fans in the Uber Arena in Berlin were reportedly left a little perplexed by the song choice, as it has been co-opted by far-right groups in Germany.

German outlet Bild claim there was some booing in response to L’Amour Toujours being played.

Dobey reverted back to his usual walk-on music for his next match against Gerwyn Price – Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble by PJ & Duncan.

Fans were surprised he walked on to D’Agostino’s hit for his first match.
