Arsenal in for Nico Williams and Matheus Cunha

Arsenal are interested in the signature of Williams and Cunha, with Andrea Berta targeting the 15-goal Premier League striker.

Nico Williams has a release clause set at €58m (£48.9m), but after interest from Barcelona last summer, already earns well at Athletic Club.

Bayern Munich are also interested, but Barcelona are keen to land his signature, reuniting him with Lamine Yamal, as the pair lit up the Euros last summer.

The biggest blockade in Barcelona’s deal is their financial struggles, but Raphinha has been admired by Saudi Arabia for a while.

The biggest issue for clubs will not be the fee, but Williams himself, as he is in love with Athletic and enjoys playing in Bilbao, so he will only move if he feels it will progress his career significantly.

Matheus Cunha has long been a target of both Arsenal and Aston Villa, with his current disciplinary issues not putting off either side.

He signed a new contract at Wolves amidst interest from other clubs in January, but may feel his talent is too good for Wolves, as they battle relegation from the Premier League.
